Sadia + Travis | Garden of Gods Elopement

Some couples dream about a big wedding. Others dream about a place, their favorite people, and a day that actually feels like them.

For Sadia and Travis, that meant packing up their two dogs, traveling across the country, and heading to Colorado to get married in the middle of the mountains.

And honestly? We couldn’t think of a better way to do it.

Traveling Across the Country to Elope!

Sadia and Travis didn’t just drive across town for their elopement.

They packed up the dogs and traveled across the country to make this happen.

There’s something pretty special about choosing a place that means something to you — even when it means going hundreds or thousands of miles to get there.

And Garden of the Gods was the perfect backdrop.

Towering red rock formations, wide-open skies, mountain views, and plenty of room to slow down and actually take in the moment.

Colorado gave them the scenery, but the adventure getting there was part of their story too.

The Kind of Vows You Actually Remember

Then came the part of the day that makes everything else fade away — the vows.

Standing among the red rocks of Garden of the Gods, Sadia and Travis promised each other forever with their two dogs by their side.

A beautiful beginning to their next adventure together.

Their Dogs Were Their Witnesses 🐾

Colorado is one of the few states where couples can self-solemnize, meaning no officiant or required witnesses are needed to make the marriage official. That meant Sadia and Travis could include the most important members of their family in the ceremony — their two dogs.

And in some Colorado counties, couples can even add their pets’ paw prints to the marriage license!

So while their dogs may not have been legally required witnesses, they were absolutely the most important honorary witnesses we could imagine.

Two dogs. Two humans. One marriage license. And a pretty unforgettable Colorado adventure.

They stood surrounded by Colorado's red rocks, with their dogs beside them, and signed their marriage licenses.

A Bride in Her Wild Element

Sadia stands surrounded by the towering red rock formations of Garden of the Gods, taking in the moment before the next part of their adventure. With Colorado’s dramatic landscape all around her, this was the kind of backdrop that made their elopement feel completely unforgettable.

A Denim Jacket Made Just for Her

Ms. Kay brought a little personality to her wedding day with a personalized denim jacket made just for her. A perfect mix of western style and sentimental detail, it was the kind of piece that made her look feel completely her own and something she can keep wearing long after the wedding day!

When the landscape is this good, you run with it.

Because sometimes your elopement day calls for ditching the slow walk and running through the red rocks instead. Sadia and Travis embraced every bit of the adventure, soaking up the incredible views, laughing along the way, and making Garden of the Gods their playground for the day.
